As a seasoned mental health therapist, I cannot ignore the life-changing impact that spirituality has played in the lives of my clients and believe that there is significant overlap between spiritual wellness and psychological goals.
Spiritual wellness involves finding your life’s meaning and purpose. It is a predictor of improved immune health, greater psychological well-being, and increased clarity and optimism. Spiritual wellness provides an individual with an established set of beliefs and values that can be drawn upon throughout the life course, especially during times that are challenging.
My approach to counseling integrates healing for the Body, Mind and Spirit. In session, we will explore the development of a regular “practice” to be utilized outside the therapy session for continuous wellness, recognize the impact of your core beliefs, create a life that is in sync with your values and refine your life purpose.
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
